Kwara
Kwara is located in the remote northern part of the Okavango Delta within a private concession - a wilderness area in excess of 1,700 square kilometres which borders the Moremi Reserve. No one other than Kwara guests use this area!
The camp fronts onto a huge floodplain, adjacent to the permanent water of the Delta and is backed by extensive bush. It is a magnificent.
The eight luxury safari-style tents are built on raised decks, within a grove of huge and ancient African Ebony trees. Each tent has its own viewing deck, private en-suite facilities including hot and cold running showers, flush toilets, his & hers basins, inside outside showers and flush toilets
The honeymoon suite has it’s own special bathroom with an antique slipper bath with the traditional ball and claw feet. If you want complete privacy you should consider hiring a private vehicle which comes with your own guide and tracker. As Kwara guests have exclusive use of the Kwara conservancy, you will have the wilderness almost to yourselves Guests can enjoy a diverse wildlife experience all year round, but the focus is definitely on the water. • Mokoro trails (traditional dug out canoe) through crystal-clear waters. • Double deck powerboat for best viewing. • Outstanding birding: Visit the famous Godikwe lagoon, where you can stand on a boat literally eye to eye with thousands of herons, storks and other nesting birds.
