Road transfers from Maun can be arranged at a reasonable cost.
Self drive:Mankwe is approximately 93 km from Maun on the Savuti road. Just North of Sankuyo Village the road splits with the right split going to the Mababe Gate of the Chobe National Park and the left split going to the Khwai river and the North Gate entrance of the Moremi Game Reserve. There are signs and entrances to Mankwe on both these roads. The Khwai river crossing is approximately 30 km from Mankwe and the North Gate entrance a further 20 km. From Mankwe it is approx. 45 km to Mababe gate entrance to the Chobe National Park which is also the entrance to Savute.
